Be sure to arrive early if you want a seat because this place gets packed out quickly. We went on a Monday afternoon and still had difficulty. Nevertheless, the wait is worth it. The food is excellent, the servers look like they're having fun, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend ordering the charcuterie board if you're looking for a good app to start.

One of my two favorite restaurants on PEI, Blue Mussel Cafe is fantastic. I've been several times and everything I've eaten there has been delicious? Highly recommend the local oysters, mussels in the traditional broth and the Bubbly Bake! I also had the special of the day, blue fin tuna. It was the BEST I've ever had!!!Be sure to have drinks at the bar as well. Refreshing cocktails and the Caesar with an oyster on the half shell is amazing! I love eating on the deck, off of the bar, at the high top tables for some sun and the view of the bay!The wait time will be awful but so worth it. They will text you so you can explore the area while you wait.

An absolute must-stop in PEI. Fresh, delicious seafood cuisine in a friendly, vibrant environment. Great cocktails. Visited on Canada Day long weekend with a family party of four. My seafood chowder and lobster roll was everything I hoped it would be (and then some!). Will most definitely return when back in PEI.
